School Spirit PR is a strategic communication practice built specifically for public education.

We work with superintendents, leadership teams and school communication professionals who want more than another set of deliverables. They want a partner who will ask good questions, bring an independent perspective and help connect communication to what their organizations are actually trying to accomplish.

But there’s a reason we’re called School Spirit PR.

Even when we’re working through very adult challenges—strategy, trust, change, crisis and organizational leadership—we never lose sight of who the work is ultimately for: students.

We believe serious work can still bring joy, and good communication should accomplish something.

I have spent my career asking questions.

Journalism taught me to look beyond the first answer. School leadership taught me to ask what that answer means for the people we serve. I still do both.

I listen. I look for patterns. I challenge assumptions. And when I see something, I’ll tell you.

The best consulting relationships are built on enough trust to think honestly together. I take that trust—and the confidence leaders place in me—seriously.
