Tuscaloosa, Ala, Oct. 22, 2025 – School Spirit PR today announced the launch of its second School Spirit PR Celebration Grant competition. This $500 grant is designed to support initiatives that celebrate student or staff achievements, contributions, or positive impacts within public and charter school districts across the United States.
“We believe in recognizing and celebrating the incredible work happening within our schools – now more than ever,” said Lesley Bruinton, CEO. “This grant provides an opportunity for districts to showcase their successes and boost morale among students and staff, especially since public funds cannot be used for this purpose.”
The Celebration Grant is open to any Superintendents and/or communications personnel from public and charter school districts within the continental United States.
Grant funds must be used to support initiatives such as:
- Student recognition events: Awards ceremonies, banquets, etc.
- Employee appreciation programs: Luncheons, professional development opportunities, etc.
- Community engagement initiatives: Projects that highlight student or employee work in the community.
- Creative projects: Initiatives that showcase school district successes.
All submissions will be reviewed, and a grant winner will be selected based on the quality of the initiative. Winners will be notified by December 1, 2025.
School Spirit PR partners with school leaders to champion the good in education through strategic communication so that they can inspire trust, engage the community, and navigate conflict.
